Physical Neglect

Neglect of a child, elder, disabled, or other vulnerable person’s basic human needs necessary for survival, including food, shelter, clothing, and uninterrupted sleep. Sometimes this term is used to encompass medical neglect. Alternately referred to as gross neglect, particular in criminology, law, and forensics literatures.
