A curated collection of Books, Videos, Articles and more to educate consumers, caregivers and professionals about Complex Trauma.

A term from the fields of criminology and juvenile justice that refers to exposure to two or more distinct types of interpersonal victimization. Greater number of types of victimization is incrementally linked to heightened risk for a widening array of negative outcomes. In terms of the number and types of trauma that it encompasses, this is a broader construct than ACES but a more narrow one than complex trauma.
